Global Difficulty
The global difficulty affects all players. It mainly modifies vanilla gamerules.
- 0 death
This step is the default one, and it is easier than most vanilla survival.
Phantoms are disabled, all blocks drop after a block explosion or a mob explosion and the difficulty is set to easy. At least 30% of connected players must sleep to skip the night.
- 1 death
Set the difficulty to Normal.
- 2 deaths
At least 70% of connected players must sleep to skip the night.
- 3 and 4 deaths
Set the difficulty to Hard.
- 5 and 6 deaths
All blocks do not drop after a mob explosion (e.g., creeper) or block explosion (except TNT).
Phantoms are back...
(This is the vanilla hard difficulty)
- 7 deaths
Increase mob follow range by 25%.
Skeletons are more intelligent. (Good luck)
- 8 and 9 deaths
Increase fall damage by 25%.
- 10 and 11 deaths
Remove one heart.
- 12 deaths
Increase mob step height to 1.1.
- 13 and 14 deaths
All blocks do not drop after a TNT explosion.
- 15 deaths
Increase mob reinforcement by 25%.
Zombies are more intelligent. (Good luck)
- 16 and 17 deaths
The debug screen (F3) is reduced.
You cannot get your coordinates.
- 18 and 19 deaths
Increase fall damage by 50%.
- 20 and 21 deaths
Remove another heart (two hearts removed).
- 22 deaths
All players must sleep to pass the night.
Charged creepers start spawning (spawn rates increase with each death)
- 23 deaths
Increase follow range by 35%.
- 24 deaths
Disable infinite water source.
- 25 deaths
Increase mob reinforcement by 50%.
- 26 and 27 deaths
Increase mob step height to 1.5.
- 28 and 29 deaths
Limit crafting to recipes unlocked.
Piglins brutes start spawning in the Nether... (Good luck: spawn rates increase with each death)
- 30 and 31 deaths
Enable universal anger.
- 32 deaths
Increase fall damage by 100%
- 33 and 34 deaths
Increase mob reinforcement by 75%.
- 35 and 36 deaths
Increase follow range by 100%.
Creepers are buffed... (Good luck)
- 37, 38 and 39 deaths
Never forgive dead players!
- 40 deaths
Disable natural regeneration...
